C5MI and St. Michael’s Learning Academy Announce Launch of Their Joint DOL Apprenticeship Program Following Successful Pilot

Jacksonville Beach, FL – August 1, 2025: C5MI, a market leader in supply chain transformation and SAP®-based technology consulting, is expanding its commitment to veteran workforce development. This expansion includes the official launch of a new Department of Labor (DOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program in partnership with St. Michael’s Learning Academy (SMLA), a nationally recognized workforce development organization. Building on a year-long collaboration, this national initiative supports transitioning service members and veterans through mentorship, certification, and placement.

On June 9, 2025, the two organizations initiated a successful pilot program that placed transitioning service members and veterans into SAP Transportation Management (TM) consulting positions at C5MI. Building on that success, the inaugural Department of Labor (DOL) apprenticeship program will launch on September 15, 2025, expanding the collaboration with a new focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). This initiative brings together C5MI’s deep expertise in SAP and supply chain logistics with SMLA’s commitment to developing a future-ready workforce and supporting the warfighter through their transition to civilian life.

“This program represents a meaningful step forward in how we prepare veterans for success beyond their service,” said Mary Dale, Chief Human Resources Officer at C5MI. “By combining immersive training with real-world application, we’re not only building technical capability—we’re investing in the leadership and resilience veterans bring to the workforce.”

The apprenticeship program will offer paid, on-the-job training in high-demand technical fields, including ServiceNow®, cybersecurity, project management, and SAP. Participants will gain hands-on experience while earning industry-recognized credentials, positioning them for long-term success in the digital workforce. This effort reflects C5MI’s broader mission to build resilient, future-ready teams through inclusive talent development.

“We are grateful for employer partners like C5MI, whose mission and core values align with the importance of investing in its people ( employees),” said Christine Aboud, CEO of St. Michael’s Learning Academy. “There is great value in partnering with an academic partner to upskill your existing workforce that aligns with your company’s digital transformation strategy.”

The first DOL-approved cohort will officially launch on September 15, 2025, placing 10+ transitioning service members and veterans into full-time SAP EWM Associate roles at C5MI with a career pathway to Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal, and Management level roles. This cohort will serve as the foundation for expanding the program nationwide to include both service members and civilians, reinforcing C5MI’s commitment to building a digitally skilled workforce through strategic partnerships and real-world training.

C5MI is actively seeking candidates for SAP EWM Associate roles, and interested individuals are encouraged to apply now.
